1. Overview

This Refund and Returns Policy applies to all reservations and real estate service transactions made through the website www.myescapepr.com (the “Site”), owned and operated by SAC REAL ESTATE INC., a corporation duly organized under the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.

By completing a reservation, booking, or service request through the Site, the user (“User”) agrees to this Refund and Returns Policy, in addition to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy of the Site.

2. Vacation Rental Cancellations and Refunds

2.1. Standard Cancellation Policy

Each property listed on MyEscapePR.com may have a specific cancellation policy. Users must review and accept the applicable cancellation terms at the time of booking.

Unless otherwise stated in the listing:

• • • Full refund is available if the User cancels at least 14 days prior to the check-in date.
    • 50% refund is available if the User cancels between 7 to 13 days prior to check-in.
    • No refund will be issued for cancellations made within 6 days of the check-in date or for no-shows.

All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to: sa@myescapepr.com
Processing of refunds may take 5–10 business days, depending on the payment method used.

2.2. Exceptional Circumstances

Refunds may be granted outside the standard policy in cases of:

• • • Natural disasters or declared states of emergency in Puerto Rico
    • Verified medical emergencies (with documentation)
    • Significant property issues (e.g., uninhabitable conditions upon arrival, misrepresentation)

Each case will be reviewed individually, and supporting evidence may be required.

3. Returns Policy for Property Management and Real Estate Services

Fees paid for property management or real estate brokerage services are non-refundable once the service agreement is signed and work has commenced.

If the User believes a billing error has occurred, they must contact sa@myescapepr.com within 7 calendar days of the transaction for review. Refunds for erroneous charges may be granted after internal investigation.

4. Chargebacks and Disputes

Users agree to first contact SAC REAL ESTATE INC. before initiating any chargeback through their bank or credit card issuer. Filing a chargeback without proper grounds may result in the suspension of User privileges on the Site and/or legal action.

5. Modification of Policy

SAC REAL ESTATE INC. reserves the right to update or modify this Refund and Returns Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with the effective date.
